Farmhouse Centerpiece Ideas

I wanted to create a farmhouse centerpiece for our dining room table and ended up with two looks before I finished.  Both looks turned out cute and were easy to put together just by shopping my home for all the details.  I think the final look is my favorite though!
I started out by using my old cheese box as a base.  Then I added three of my new blue Ball jars to it.  The center one is sitting on a small clear jar I saved, that just added a slight bit of height to center jar since they are all the exact same size.
Next I added some some faux greenery stems from Walmart (.97 cents per stem) and then some faux lavender stems from the Dollar Tree ($1 per bunch).  I just cut a few pieces from a bunch.
Lastly, for a little whimsy, I added the vintage chicken cookie cutters.  My favorite part! :)
Tah Dah! I loved it and actually used it in a Summer centerpiece tour on Instagram.  You can take that tour right here.  So many wonderful ideas in that tour!
Now, the next one is basically the same, but I took out two of the blue jars and added two of my Pioneer Woman Mugs to the box.
I also removed the lavender at added a yellow bloom to each mug.  I also tied a piece of jute twine around the middle jar that I left in the box.
I still wanted to use my chicken cookie cutters, so I tucked them into the greenery in each mug.
I used the colors in mugs to set my table for a Summer tablescape.  The extra blue jars are used for water glasses.  So cute! :)
Again, I shopped our home for this look.  We use my Pioneer Woman dishes daily.  I added a vintage dessert plate to bring in more vintage to the look.  You can never have too much vintage and I love mixing the old and new together.
I found these pretty green placemats at the Dollar General for $1 each!  I tied my Pioneer Woman napkin with a piece of twine to match the twine in the centerpiece.  You can take a tour of beautiful Summer table settings on Instagram, right here.

It doesn't have to be done all at once.  It is a slow process in the works! C-ya next time!
