New Residents to Clover House!
I would like to introduce you to Hazel and Zelda! Are they not the most adorable little fur babies evah? We love them so much and they are so much FUN! They came into our lives on May 29th, 2011.
Once upon a time we were busy remodeling our Master Bathroom when we suddenly realized we needed more goodies to complete our task, so off we went to retrieve them! Hi-ho, hi-ho, its off to Home Depot! On the way home my honey spotted a sign that read, "Barn Sale". As it turns out we didn't find any antique treasures we couldn't live without, but we did however spot a crate full of screaming kitties!
Hazel was hanging on the door screaming at the top of her lungs, "Pick me, pick me!" So we did. Then we decided we wanted just one more...Zelda! There were 10 babies there that day, I sure did hate leaving the other 8 behind.....but we did.
Picture #1&2: Unsure of their new home. "Hazel, where are you?" "Over here by the vent Zelda!"
Picture #3: Their first bath. They were getting settled on the heating pad. "Oh boy, this is wonderful!"
Picture #4: Their very first adventure outside. "Hey Mama, you need to weed your flower bed!"
Picture #5: Zelda's sleepy look. "Who me?" "Oh, just cat napping."
Picture #6: Sweet girls napping in Mama's computer chair. "We'll watch Iron Man again when she leaves."
Picture #7: Hazel's serious, but sweet look. "Mama, this is my adorable look!"
Picture #8: My little helpers. "Mama, we "organized" your ribbons and got lots of fur on your photo sheet!"
New Visitors to Clover House
We've had several visitors to our home since the weather became warm. With lots of flowers, trees and bushes we see all types of living beauty. Most of these pictures were taken earlier in the season. Our Texas heat wave with temps of 100 degrees or higher {29 days straight now} has burned up almost all our pretty plants. No matter how much we water, they just can't take the heat!
Row #1: Our guests on the front porch. The Barn Swallows. Mom and Dad first, then along came 3 babies.
Row #2: We had several bird nests with speckled eggs. This baby was found sitting alone on the driveway.
Row #3: Our hedges attract butterflies and smell sweet too. By Chance would you know their name?Row #4: Blooms of every color! Do you see Mr. Bee?
New to Me Free Printable Subway Art
#1: Get your free printable subway art from eighteen25. Print on white card stock.
#2: Gather your frame and mat {mat optional depending what size frame you use}.
#3: Prepare your frame for painting.
#4: Get your primer {I used white}.
#5: Prime your frame and let dry.
#6: Get your glossy paint {I used Pewter Gray}
#7: Paint your frame and let dry. {I applied 2 coats}
#8: Frame your free subway art, display and admire!
It doesn't have to be done all at once. It is a slow process in the works! C-ya next time!
