Happy Tuesday!
I'm back today with the recipe of the week. We had this yummy drink Sunday morning for breakfast. It's good and good for you!I had 3 bananas sitting in the fruit bowl with lots of spots that were going to ruin if we didn't do something with them, so smoothie it was!
We also had some blackberries in the fridge, so I came up with the Banana Blackberry Smoothie! We've done pretty good about eating healthy lately, so this little recipe is fitting right into our healthy kick we are on.
Here's the recipe for you.....very easy!
Banana Blackberry Smoothie
3 ripe bananas
12 large blackberries
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup 1% milk
1 tsp sugar
A few hands full of ice
Place all the ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth and yummy!
Easy huh? Oh and you're going to love your cold purple drink too! This recipe makes enough for 3 people, so you can cut back or increase ingredients as needed.
It doesn't have to be done all at once. It is a slow process in the works! C-ya next time!
Wish I'd seen this 2 days ago before I threw out our my brown spotted bananas and mushy blackberries. LOL I'll remember for next time. xxD
