Hey there! It's finally cooling off here in Texas. I'm sure the hot weather will come back, but for now, I'm enjoying it!
Let's talk Thanksgiving. Have I ever told you how I seriously dislike when the stores skip over Thanksgiving. They go from Halloween to Christmas, just like that! I'm not skipping Thanksgiving. Not on my blog Mister!
Anywhoooobs! I've got a few ideas for your Fall decorating around the Thanksgiving celebrating time. If you are hosting Thanksgiving at your home this year and you love vintage farmhouse decor, which is my very favorite, you're going to hopefully get lots of ideas here.
These plates, bowls and napkins are all from the Pioneer Woman collection at Walmart. So pretty for Fall. Using paper plates will speed up your clean up in the kitchen after your yummy Thanksgiving meal!
Take some hand stitched leaves, dried orange slices along with a book page garland, add it to a vintage window frame and doesn't it just scream Fall! See how I made the book page garland here.
There's nothing more fun than a bunch of beautiful foliage in a vintage enamel coffee pot! Add some amber glass a cute set of chicken shakers and you've got centerpiece perfection!Another centerpiece idea which is very simple to create, is a vintage tin with lots of Fall foliage plopped inside! Easy and beautiful! I have lots of old tins, but this is my very favorite of all time and she's a biggun!
Need an idea for your fireplace hearth? I used an old wooden ice cream bucket, stood my rolling pin collection inside and then added some Fall flowers to it.
Seriously, how pretty is this and it just encapsulates Farmhouse Fall to me! I love this idea!
Here I am again shouting out the best candles around! Check them out here and tell them DeeDee sent you! This one is one of my favorites of all time! Use code DDCAMP to save $$$ on your order.
Now for your bedroom or your guest bedroom. Get out your orange sheets and Fall colored quilt to doll up your bedroom for those Thanksgiving guest, or you! A comfy, cozy and beautiful room is the best when trying to relax!
Don't forget to make your coffee station extra special by adding in some colorful vintage coffee details! This is another one of my favorite tins in my collection! Vintage mugs make for a good conversation piece and they bring back all the good memories of long ago.
Most of all, enjoy your family and friends while you have them in your home!
If you loved any of these ideas and want to save them for later, be sure to pin it to your favorite Pinterest board. I have a Pinterest board set up for all kinds of Fall Decor ideas and it's called Gobble Gobble. I'm pinning something new on Pinterest every day. Won't you join me?
