Now on to one of my favorite times of the year to decorate for. Red, white and blue time! I start out decorating for Memorial day and then I leave it up all the way through to fourth of July!
A really long time ago, when my boys were little, I used to have my entire kitchen decorated in Americana. I love red, white and blue decor! This is my little centerpiece that I created just using items I have on hand. Again, like I ALWAYS say, shop your home first before going out and buying new stuff!
These are my Pioneer Woman dishes that just happen to be RWB! The white charger and the checkered napkin were a Hobby Lobby find and they were 50% off! The bottom PW plate was a Goodwill find and the top blue plate was a Walmart purchase from last year. Oh, and of course, my old vintage silverware that I love using in my photo shoots. We do not use these to eat with.
Just a table for two, that's normally what I set out because although I love doing tablescapes, I don't have room for large sets of dishes, so I normally just buy enough for my table for two set up!
Its easy to create a centerpiece for your table. Just start adding things you like and make it look pretty, but not too over the top, or heck, go over the top if that's what you like! It's YOUR table! lol!
This old coffee tin was a recent find on Instagram. Did you know that there are lots of vintage sellers on IG? Yes, there are!
These Heritage Floral Pioneer Woman dishes are some of my favorites, but very hard to come by!
I hope you will try and create your very own patriotic table setting. It just makes whatever occasion you're celebrating that much more special if your table is pretty too!
NOTE: If you missed my post last week, click right here because I have an amazing candle you need to try!
If you loved this idea and want to save it for later, be sure to pin it to your favorite Pinterest board. I have a Pinterest board set up just for all things table top decor related and its called Table Decor and I'm pinning something new every day. Won't you join me?
