We're Selling Our Home

Yes, you did read that correctly, we're selling our home!  Everyone we tell asks us why are you selling your beautiful home that you've worked so hard on?  To be honest, its for financial reasons.  We are currently just working to pay our bills and that is it! No fun for us, just go to work and pay bills.  Yes, we live pay check to pay check and its absolutely no fun at all!  Our beautiful home, is our saving grace for us to get back to actual living our lives correctly!
We are sad and happy all at once. We've lived here since March 2011.  We love it here, its a beautiful, friendly and quiet neighborhood.  We'll miss it, but there is another little charmer just waiting for us to give our TLC to.  We are so excited and can't wait to move in and start the updates.  Don't worry, I'll bring you along for the ride!
This is the living room looking into the dining room. Hello beams!
To the left there is the entry hall.  I need to get my dried oregano done up to move too!
The gorgeous entry hall with its wood look porcelain tile floor, pretty blue door and the custom made light fixture made by my honey.  He used over 100 year old wood to make it, see that here.
There is a great wood burning fireplace that we love to use in the winter months.  Also, the entertainment center my honey built to the right of it.  See that here.
This is the spare bedroom which I use for my craft room.  The cats share my room with me and I don't even mind!
What do you think about this carpet? It's from the 80's.  I've had people over on Instagram say they really like it.  It is really soft and still in excellent shape, so there's that! :)
This is our master bedroom, same carpet here too.  It's a huge room with lots of space and very brightly lit by the sunshine in the afternoons.
There's the master bathroom to left there.
I'm going to miss this beautiful old door too!  See that here.
So many DIYs in here!  Its truly custom now, nothing like when we moved in.  See those updates here.
That little wall behind the toilet was my Valentine's gift one year! :)  See that here.
A big walk in closet behind the curtain.
Gorgeous view of the soaking tub with 3 jets for your relaxing pleasure!
And back out into our big bedroom.
This is the freshly tiled guest bathroom.  See that here.
Our beautiful farmhouse kitchen.  I do believe this is my favorite room in the house.  It was so ugly when we moved in.  Most people who see the before and after can not get over the changes!  See those updates here.
A generously large and deep farmhouse apron front sink.  See that here.
Gorgeous new stainless steel and black appliances.
That's the pantry on the left with its one of a kind screen door that my honey built.  See that here.  Now on in to the laundry room that he built too!
All custom cabinets.  That tall cabinet slides out to house my mops and brooms.  See updates here.
We even made the clothespin chandelier too!  See that here.
Here's the man cave, my honey loves it in here! :)  See that here.
It's just off the laundry room.  You could make this a third bedroom as well.
Since we live on a just a dab over an acre, we have a very long driveway that drives right up to our 30 x 30 workshop with an attached carport.  Room for 4 vehicles to have covered parking.
Here's the workshop.  Excuse our moving mess, but its very roomy, it can hold two vehicles with lots of room to spare.
Vintage car #1 on the left and vintage car #2 on the right.  Room for moving boxes in the middle! :)
This is our patio, we spend lots of time out here in the warmer months.
Our stock tank pool was a new addition just this past Summer.  It's staying here.  See that here.
Lots of room for outdoor fun!
Here's one last shot from the air.....drone action!  We're situated on a corner lot with just a little over an acre.  We even have room for RV parking there on the right if you need it!  There is also a little storage shed right behind that big tree to the right of the house, we keep all of our gardening supplies in there.

We put it on the market last Monday.  I'm hoping it has sold by the time you are reading this. Wish us luck! :)

If you loved this idea and want to save it for later, be sure to pin it to your favorite Pinterest board.  I have a Pinterest board all set up just for Yumminess and I'm pinning something new every day. Won't you join me?

GREAT NEWS!  I now have an Amazon Storefront!  If you ever want to purchase anything I'm showing you here, you can pop over to my shop and see what I've picked out for you! Click right here to visit.

It doesn't have to be done all at once.  It is a slow process in the works! C-ya next time!

  4. I know it can be sad to leave a home you had put so much heart into, but I have no doubt you will do the same with your new home, and I hope you will not have nearly as much financial stress.
