Semi Homemade Shamrock Cakes

Hey there!

How are you doing?  Me too!

So I actually shared this on my IG last year, but I never shared it here, so here we go!

Cake!  I love cake and its especially fun when its in a cute festive shape.

Since St Patrick's Day is coming up, how about Shamrock Cakes yall?  I'm not Irish, but its fun to celebrate right along with the festivities of all the fun and GREEN goodies!

As I stated in the title, this is semi homemade.  You will need the following:

1 Vanilla Cake mix

1 Cream Cheese Frosting

Green gel food coloring

Shamrock Cookie Cutter

Mix cake as directed on the box.  Add a small amount of the green food coloring and mix. Now bake and let cool.

NOTE:  I made two 9x9 cakes so they would be thin enough for me to use my cookie cutter easily.

This is the Gel Food Coloring I use, its very easy to use by the way. Less messy than the drops.

Open the frosting and mix the green food coloring in the container of frosting.

Cut out shamrock shapes and decorate with the green frosting.  GO HERE to see my heart shaped cakes and how I added my frosting the easy way.  You'll want to pin those too for next year!

Share with family and friends and watch their faces light up with joy!

Who wouldn't want to get this sweet little gift!  I hope they are a hit at your house too.
