How I Build a Gallery Wall and My New Desk

Hello from my office!

I've had the same desk for almost my boys entire life! lol! It was a big black/brown heavy monster that you could fit into a corner if you needed to.  It served its purpose for years, but in our new home I wanted my office / craft room to look more girlie with lighter colors.
In comes this gorgeous sleek, white, electric desk with 55 inches of work top area from Flexispot.comThis desk will be awesome when I finally get my craft room set up because I prefer to stand when I’m creating a card or crafting.
These two little buttons allow the work top to rise up or come back down smoothly.
All the working parts are under the desk for a sleek look when viewing from the top side.  The desk comes in two separate boxes. The base and all the working pieces in one box and then the top in another box.  All the tools you need to assemble it is included.  The directions were very easy to follow.  My husband and I put the whole thing together in about 30 minutes.
They have several work stations available and in several color combos as well.  These desks are very well made and sturdy.  The smooth glide up and down even allows you to leave your drink in place, it will not cause spillage! Go right here to my Amazon shop to see the one I got. Go here for a bigger selection.
I never knew how much I needed one of these desks until I got one!  I'm really enjoying it so far.
Also, side note, Two Goats Candle Co is pouring up their Fall line, so hurry on over and getcha a few Fall scented candles for your stash!  Use my code DDCAMP to receive 10% off your purchase.  Always FREE shipping too!
After we built the desk, I wanted to decorate my work area and make it pretty to look at.  We are still unpacking so I had to go search up my gold frames.  They were in two separate places, but I found them!  The following photos show you how I placed each mirror and frame to create my gallery wall.
When creating a gallery wall, I like to start with my largest pieces and work down to the smaller ones.  To get an idea, just scroll through to see how I placed each frame.  Obviously you aren't going to have the same frames I do, so just place yours like you think they look nice.  I used the width of my desk for my border line and tried not to go past that.

NOTE: Before I started, I laid my frames on the floor and arranged them how I liked them, snapped a picture on my phone and then transferred the design to the wall.

As you can see, I also added a few pretties on top of my desk to make it even more cheerful!

Whatcha think?
Then to add some life, I added my fiddle leaf plant too! Tah Dah!

I'll just be over here hanging out at my new desk pecking away at the computer if you need me! Go build a gallery wall of your own and tag me on Instagram @TexasBlueBungalow
Have a great day! :)

If you loved this idea and want to save it for later, be sure to pin it to your favorite Pinterest board.  I have a Pinterest board set up just for all things related to home decor and its called Farmhouse Decor Ideas and I'm pinning something new every day. Won't you join me?

GREAT NEWS!  I now have an Amazon Storefront!  If you ever want to purchase anything I'm showing you here, you can pop over to my shop and see what I've picked out for you! Click right here to visit.

It doesn't have to be done all at once.  It is a slow process in the works! C-ya next time!

  3. Oh, this is all wonderful! The gallery wall is gorgeous, and I need that desk. I added it to my wishlist. I like to stand while I'm working on projects, but I don't want to stand ALL of the time, so this would be perfect! I'll be featuring this post at the TFT link party tomorrow. :)
