Sweet and Spicy Cream Cheese Appetizer

Hey there!  It's getting warm outside here in Texas, that means porch sittin' for us!  This is my favorite time of the year and since we are all still "sheltering at home" I thought I'd share something good for an at home party!  We love sitting outside on the porch in the evenings while enjoying some good music, an adult beverage and of course a good conversation.  But wait, you need snacks, right?!
This snack is simple and its delicious too!  We love this so much!  To be honest, its not the best healthy snack for you, but its delicious.  It's two ingredients....well, three if you count the crackers!

1. 8 oz Light Cream Cheese - room temperature
2. Pepper Jelly of your choice - We've tried these and YUM!
3. Crackers
This is my homemade Texas Jalapeno Jelly.  You can find the recipe right here.  It's wonderful!  We don't always have this on hand so we are always looking for interesting pepper jelly combos because any pepper jelly will work with this recipe!

I also use light cream cheese due to the fact, like I said above, this snack is not great in the healthy department!  Live a little, have the "not so good for you" snack occasionally!
To prepare your snack, set the cheese block out on the counter and allow it to come up to room temperature, then when you're ready for your snack, put the block of cheese on a pretty Earth friendly plate, pour the jar of jelly over the top and add crackers.
Look at how pretty it is! Party for two coming right up!  Of course, if you have guests over (in the future), add another block of cheese to make sure everyone gets a bite or two!

If you missed reading my DIY candle post RIGHT HERE, pop over and check it out. I have a discount code for you!

If you loved this idea and want to save it for later, be sure to pin it to your favorite Pinterest board.  I have a Pinterest board set up just for all things yummy called Yumminess and all kinds of other fun stuff and, I'm pinning something new every day. Won't you join me?

GREAT NEWS!  I now have an Amazon Storefront!  If you ever want to purchase anything I'm showing you here, you can pop over to my shop and see what I've picked out for you! Click right here to visit. You can find this bedspread in the "For Our Home" section.

It doesn't have to be done all at once.  It is a slow process in the works! C-ya next time!
