Farmhouse Kitchen Decor for Spring

Farmhouse decor is all the thing these days, but as you'll see here I use COLOR!  Don't get me wrong, I love the accounts that are beautifully neutral, like Danelle and Deb's The House on Winchester and Natalie's My Vintage Porch, but as for this house, we like color!  I'm going to show you how I change up the decor in my kitchen for Spring.
Without all the bits and bobs of color, our kitchen is really neutral too.  That's exactly what I was planning on when we remodeled it.  This gives me the ability to add in any color I want to and not have to worry about it being matchy-matchy to all the permanent items!  See the kitchen remodel process here.
How do you like my little sink side caddy?  I made it using the beautiful Brooks Hexagon from Kendra's Threads.  We had some little wooden crafty things out in the shop and I dug through the stash until I found four just alike.  I glued them on with Gorilla Wood Glue.  Since I need a new dish brush anyway, I want to get this bamboo handle brush because it will look perfect on my caddy!
I can still turn it up on its end and display its beauty that way too.  I love it!
This is my sink area again, but as per usual, I've changed it up again!  I'm always changing things around decor wise.  Mostly I did a switch-a-roo with my plants in the window sill.
I recently received this Farmhouse 3 Pot Oval Tray from the Just Joy Shop and I just had to style it up and display it.  Isn't it the cutest?  The possibilities are endless and it's only $19.99! Tell them I sent you over if you go get one too!
I've had those chenille carrots for years, I got them on Etsy and I use them every year in my Spring decor in one sport or the other or ten! :)  After Easter is over, I'll be planting some herbs in there to use for cooking.  A small terracotta pot fits perfectly down inside each pot.
Now here's another view of the kitchen.  This is the stove and pantry area which is so fun to decorate!  My pantry door that my honey re-created for me always holds a pretty wreath of some kind.
I finally got enough old blue Ball jars in my collection to make a little display up over our microwave.  This was my plan the whole time I searched for the jars.  They all have the zink lids with the milk glass inserts.  I think it looks so cute!
I also added some Dollar Tree lavender stems in the aluminum pieces on either side of the jars.  Just another pop of color up there!

GREAT NEWS!  I now have an Amazon Storefront!  If you ever want to purchase anything I'm showing you here, you can pop over to my shop and see what I've picked out for you! Click right here to visit.

If you loved this idea and want to save it for later, be sure to pin it to your favorite Pinterest board.  I have a Pinterest board all set up just for Farmhouse Ideas ideas and I'm pinning something new every day.

It doesn't have to be done all at once.  It is a slow process in the works! C-ya next time!
